Mobile
Basic Description This paper mobile hangs gracefully and the components slowly change their orientations as gentle wind currents flow around any room. You will need to have some patience to cut all the pieces and thread them together, but its a very enjoyable process. The process described below can be used to make this project out of different materials such as wood or metal.

Tools Scissors or hobby knife with cutting mat. A complete tool list is provided below.

The first step involves acquiring the necessary materials and proper tools. It is best to get everything prepared before commencing because you are free to progress without unnecessary interruptions.

Material List

Item Qty. Description
#1 - Posterboard or very heavy cardstock. If the paper you use is too weak, the pieces will bend and curl. If you are using our template you will need a posterboard about 8.5" x 11" (210 x 297mm).
#2 - Sewing thread.
#2 - Mounting hook.

Tool List

Tool
Hobby knife and cutting mat. Make sure that your cutting tool can handle the paper you choose.
Push pin to make small holes in the paper.
If you are using our template, you will need a printer, one sheet of paper and tape
Sandpaper or emery board to finish paper cuts (optional)
